The entrance to the East Midtown Greenway is located at Sutton Place Park South between East 53rd and 61st Street. A curved pedestrian bridge leads over the FDR Drive (Franklin D. Roosevelt East River Drive), a city highway on the East River in Manhattan. The section of the East Midtown Waterfront Esplanade was completed in late 2023.

Vandring
Always a worthwhile little detour when wandering through New York City. Here you can take a short break, watch the dog walkers, let your gaze wander over the East River and the Ed Koch Bridge, and watch the cable car gondolas pass by.
