The «Lange Wand», consisting of the grading buildings IV and V with the tower in the middle, is one of the landmarks of Bad Nauheim. The tower belonged to a windmill, whose task was to set in motion by means of a mechanical gear pump, which transported the saline mineral water from the springs to the grading constructions. The slow trickling over piled blackthorn branches led to a higher concentration of brine. The graded brine was then pumped to boiling houses and heated there in boiling pans until the salt crystallized out.

Grandiose building should be considered in any case.

Great former salt production plant! Still "Breathtaking" today! Nonsense 😂 ... on the contrary: Great for pollen allergy sufferers and asthmatics 👍👍👍
