We recommend hiking in an anti-clockwise direction, because then you will pass the areas that are unpleasant to walk on (smooth stones, greasy earth without "steps" or grip, ...) on the way up - especially the day after rain.

It is recommended to walk this passage anti-clockwise (from the side of the Mælen), because then the area marked as dangerous (steep and poorly grippy ground due to greasy stones and - especially after rain - slippery, earthy areas) is passed on the ascent.
