The Solčava panoramic road is an official road (mostly on asphalt) very unique in its beauty, taking you along the pearls of the natural and cultural heritage of the Solčava Region, with breathtaking views of the peaks and valleys and past traditional highland farms.

Part of the Trans-Slovenia 03 mountain bike-route, this section of path and road is a great alternative to the valley main road. Although it climbs quite a bit out of Solčava, the views at the flatter part near the top make all the effort worth it. Just have a look through the attached photos. You'll catch on to the main road to Austria again at the end, so what's the loss?

Cykling

Point where you can see directly down to Logarska valley is a fridge with local specialty, we tried jogurt and is full taste and so good. Have some money with you if you want to try something. In the same spot there are two wooden deck chair…. Amazing, place to fill up your battery and forget on daily stress 🤤
