Carl Oswald Bulla is considered the first photo reporter. Born in the 19th century, Prussia had opened a photo studio in St. Petersburg. His son documented the Russian Revolution. The house is close to the Iide bus stop and is a museum.

Vandring
The Prussian Bulla went as a young man to St. Petersburg and opened a photo-studio. He was the first photo-reporter. He photographed scenes of civic interest as well as prominent figures such as author Leo Tolstoy. Bulla taught photography to his sons, Viktor and Aleksandr, who also became photographers and documented scenes of the Revolution of 1917.
