If you can find a place to hide the bike the hike up to the second lookout is apparently much better... The steep incline to the lookout is worth it even just for the descent down the otherside

Awesome spot and definitely worth the stop - especially as you're climbing over the hill either way!
Next to the lookout is a service road that heads into the bush. We camped about 50m up it next to a pylon and had a super peaceful night. Be careful where you set up as there are some mountain bike trails weaving through the bush.
