The travel times can be queried in the INet and by phone, but it is of no use!
The ferry only runs when the ferryman is in the mood!
Have tried 6 times to cross the Rhine with the part (it was never there!), Better take the Fleher Bridge, right nearby! Of course it was clear that there was no ferry service today, as there is still high water!

At the ferry station between Neuss-Uedesheim and Düsseldorf-Himmelgeist our smaller ship, the "Maria-Franziska", will take you over the Rhine during the summer months. (Only cyclists and pedestrians!)
In good weather, the ferry starts
Weekends (Sundays) and public holidays from 10.30am to 6.30pm.
Therefore, we offer, if the weather is foreseeable, the information on our website (rhein-faehre.de/uedesheim-himmelgeist) and our Facebook channel. In addition, you can always call the mobile phone number 0177/6530000 (from 8.30 am) directly before your trip to find out whether the ferry is really in operation.
On 14./21. July the ferry commutes between Rheinkirmes and Altstadt Düsseldorf.
