During the Civil War, Narciso Esténaga, Bishop of Ciudad Real, was assassinated. In his homage the "Cross of the Bishop", almost bathed by the waters of the Vicario reservoir.
As far as I have seen, this place is little known but it is worth visiting, although it may be difficult to find it, you enter and exit along a gravel path.

Narciso de Estenaga y Echevarría (born October 29, 1882 in Logroño, Spain, and martyred on August 22, 1936 in Peralvillo Bajo, Miguelturra, Ciudad Real) was a Spanish ecclesiastic. He belonged to the Order of Santiago and served as Prior of the Military Orders based in Ciudad Real. In addition, he held the position of Bishop of Dora from 1922 to 1936. The Catholic Church has declared him blessed and a martyr.
