I would use the path down by Ferring Sø. There you can make much better progress and also have a nice view!

At the end there is a decent incline through sand. The view is worth it and the bike path continues at the top. Less sandy but here, too, there is one or the other place with deeper places.

Sometimes you have to push the bike because the sand is too high. But the route is worth it.
