Beautiful crossing on the Elsa River. If you have time there is a path that leads from the bridge to the river where it is pleasant to dip your feet in the summer! A little further on the Diborrato waterfalls!

The Cicloponte sul fiume Elsa is the start or end point of the Sentierelsa, a hiking trail that runs along the Elsa river in Colle di Val d'Elsa, but is only accessible via stairs. The path is about 4 km long and starts at the “Steccaia” and the “Callone Reale”, two hydraulic works that since the 11th century divert the water of the river to the “gore”, artificial canals that carry water to the cities. These canals have provided energy for mills, paper mills, iron foundries and other craft and industrial activities for centuries.
