Cykling
It is a very old and very narrow little street, a survival of the old center of Valenciennes.
On the one hand, it has a "normal" width, then it narrows as it goes, to leave only one passage. This "wedge" effect is reinforced by the fact that at the narrowest point, the houses lean (slightly) towards each other, on either side of the passage.
In the street there are several houses which obviously belonged to craftsmen, with a shop on the ground floor and a house above.
