There is a "sardine trail" in Douarnenez. It starts at the Port of Rosmeur and, with the help of metal plaques embedded in the floor, takes you through the district and the history of sardine production. Direction is indicated by the orientation of the sardine's head. On various information boards there is a lot of interesting information about the city's defining fish 🦈
