St. Oswald's Church, Zug
St. Oswald's Church
The richly decorated Gothic royal portal provides access to one of the most important late Gothic churches in Switzerland (construction began in 1478).
Those entering are greeted by simple elegance inside. Particularly worth seeing: the baroque Bossard organ and the choir stalls in the apse.

The richly decorated Royal Portal with its artistic figures of saints and eyelashes is particularly striking. Inside, you will find simple elegance with an impressive net rib vault and artistic altars. A highlight is the painting of the Last Judgement above the choir arch, which was created in 1866 by Melchior Paul Deschwanden.
