Either the Lugturm is right on the tour, otherwise a small detour is worthwhile. It's pretty rustic, but cozy.

Already on the easy ascent to the Lugberg (207 meters) we enjoy magnificent views of Dresden in the Elbe Valley. In the cordoned off wood with some sturdy beech trees stands the former lookout tower Lug Tower, built at the end of the 19th century, on whose walls plaques remind that it was built by the Lower Sedlitz Mountain Association for Saxon Switzerland. The Lug Tower used to be a popular destination. Two restaurants took advantage of the good view of the city and the impressive view of Saxon Switzerland.
