Mountainbiking

In beautiful Glen Avon, you'll have little to complain about when it comes to the condition of the gravel roads; they're generally in perfect condition. Higher up in the glen, you'll encounter some rougher paths, while at the bottom, you'll mainly be affected by the sometimes gale-force winds that can whip through the valley.

Fun fact: the water of the River Avon is among the clearest in the Scottish Highlands.

A great quality estate track along Glen Avon. Some parts are gravel, some are paved. Very little traffic in a fantastic glacial valley.

Great surface, on a windy day it can be tough though as the valley can have strong winds funnelling through!
