This concrete structure, typical of 1970s architecture, conceals many gems.
In particular, there is a mummy discovered in a peat bog in 1952. It is the man of Grauballe who lived more than 2,000 years ago.
This museum dedicated to prehistory but also to ethnography and anthropology is amazing!

The Germanic Iron Age treasures of Illerup Ådal deserve particular attention as the patterns on the silver and gold are delicate, subtle and precise.
