    The Putter couple is a former clay pit along the road from Niersen to Uddel. In the past, the loam could be used for baking bricks, making pottery and urns, but also, for example, for paving roads.
    Today there is water at the bottom of the pit and the game quenches its thirst in this place.

    The name Putter couple is explained as follows:
    putter = put
    Torque = Common Country

    So it is the name of a common pit with a well.

    Beautiful natural lake and watering hole for animals along one of the perfect gravel roads of the Kroondomein. I've never looked closely at the small stone monument that stands next to it... it's still on my to-do list.
