Upscale restaurant made famous in the beat generation, and more affordable café a few steps lower, both with big terraces overlooking the dramatic Big Sur coast

Legendary hangout on a prominent cliff above the wild Big Sur coast, made famous by Henry Miller and later Beat generation writers and artists. Overpriced but great views and atmosphere.
