    Worth a detour to see the delightful Church and the nearby memorial for RAF Tempsford. The airfield was the "secret airfield" from which supplies and Special Operations Executive Operatives were flown behind enemy lines to support the resistance efforts. The memorial and nearby sign explain the undertakings of the two squadrons which operated from here.
    Worth also visiting the nearby Gibraltar Farm Barn from where the operatives were equipped before their missions...
