I don't think the place on the thoroughfare is very nice. If you want to take a break, you should probably go a few meters down the Schulstraße. The place there is much nicer/quieter and there is also a bakery next door.

A nice little fountain. In devotion to the custom of the Geisbock March. For this, bridal couples have to bring a billy goat from Lambrecht to Deidesheim.

"On Whit Tuesday each year, the recently married Lambrecht couple takes a billy goat to Deidesheim. This honors rights documented since 1404. - Theo and Klaus Rörig [from Hettenleidelheim] created this fountain. Inaugurated on August 5, 2000."
