Wonderful railway track bike path on the ex- "Dolomitenbahn" (IT 5.01). It was created by Austria for military reasons and expanded after the Second World War by Italy and joined the Piave with the Pustertal as a 960-mm narrow-gauge railway, partly with elaborately connected engineering structures such as short tunnels, viaducts, retaining walls. The slope distances are at least max. 4% steep. The small station building wonderfully cheesy. The further you go, the more beautiful the views of the Dolomite rocks of Tofana, Fanes, Pelmo and Co. Finally, look at Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Very nice section of the former Dolomitenbahn.
In the northern part above Cortina almost everything is unpaved.
Almost everything south of Cortina is paved.

Cycle path on the old Dolomite railway, Via Lunga delle Dolomiti cycle path, past the old Olympic ski jump, nice old station building. Very nice mountain views.
Partially very nicely paved.
