Absolutely recommendable option to get to Kesselbergstraße. Especially if otherwise much motorized excursion traffic is on the way.
Note: the section on the lake is highly frequented during the usual peak hours of pedestrians. In addition, the road quality in the section is very bad.
At non-peak times still very recommendable alternative to the street on the south bank, which is better if you want to move ahead quickly.

Apparently it has become fashionable in the meantime that motorists bounce the toll and avoid it via the Fischberg ramp. So be especially careful when descending in both directions!
