Shipwreck of a whaling boat built in Norway in 1912 and in active use until the mid 1960's. It was the first steel fishing boat with a hardened hull to break the ice at sea. It has been in its current location since 1981 and is rusting away.

Oldest steel ship in Iceland, built in 1912, deliberately placed on the beach in 1981, so it has been here for 40 years.
It is considered a cult object and is protected. When the weather is nice, absolutely amazing photos can be taken.
