The Anklamer Tor, the former stone gate, is one of the gates of the medieval fortifications. In addition, the Neubrandenburg Gate still exists, while the Treptow Gate was demolished in 1802.

Start of construction before 1304, formerly "Steintor. Built in the course of the construction of the Friedländer Stadtmauer. The gate is one of the most beautiful gates in Germany, especially the North German brick Gothic.
