The rest and information area offers a breathtaking view of the nature reserve of the Wadden Sea and a great view of the Campener lighthouse.
The place on the top of the dike is equipped with a bench that invites you to linger.

Cykling

Great cycle paths on and behind the dike lead to this giant. At 65.3 metres, the Campen lighthouse is the highest lighthouse on the German mainland. The free-standing steel lattice tower with a triangular cross-section weighs around 300 tonnes and was built in 1889/1890. Anyone who wants to can climb up over 300 steps and enjoy a great view. At the top of the dike there is a wonderful place to stop.
