Giri is one of the highest and oldest villages on Zakynthos, founded in the 15th century. Located at an altitude of about 550 meters above sea level, in the center of the island, it offers a spectacular view of the surrounding nature. Nearby is the 60 meter deep Hayiotis Cave with beautiful rock formations.
In the historic center there is the old church and many other buildings worth seeing that want to be inquired about via paved paths!
