In my case, I'm going home. But that is the only way to the Nordkapp. Sometimes there is too much traffic. There are also rest areas along the way if you need a break.

As an alternative to taking the busy E69 from Olderfjord to Honnigsvåg, I can recommend the less busy 889 from Smørfjord to Havøysund, from where you can cruise to the North Cape island with Hurtigruten. The crossing takes 2 hours and should be booked in advance by phone. In my case, it was 3 days. Payment was made simply by credit card using the booking confirmation link received by email.
