The former castle was built at the end of the 13th and beginning of the 14th century. In the middle of the 16th century, the reconstruction of the Renaissance castle took place. Today there is a hotel and restaurant in the castle.

Brandeis on the Elbe - Altbunzlau (Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav) is not much else, but the castle directly on the Elbe is worth seeing.
