The Grüntaler village church was built in the middle of the 13th century. The tower was built at the end of the 15th century. The brick attachment dates from the 19th century.

Cykling
The approximately 450-year-old, thick oak stands next to the church on the road. It divides briefly over the ground into three strong sub-branches; Once upon a time there were four. Legend has it that during the Thirty Years' War in a storm the church spire was broken off and thrown into the tree. This should have deformed the treetop so that this strain was caused.
