Somewhat hidden you can still marvel at the ruins of Count Kinsky's castle.
It is also known as the "Wächtlerhaus".
An SS henchman who turned the castle into his country house.
After 1945, the Kinskys' castle became a company base for the border guard. Today, the abandoned border guard, the ruins of the Czech school and the foundations of the glass factory buildings and some houses stand here.

The Fichtenbach valley, which has been used as a local recreation area since the border was opened, is also often referred to as the "forgotten valley". There used to be a thriving glass industry, of which only the remains of ruins and the buildings (including the former castle of Counts Kinsky) that housed the former Czech border guards remain.
