The 900 meter long wall must guarantee water safety in the area. Because color is welcome in this industrial environment, De Vlaamse Waterweg nv and Antwerp Port Authority enlisted the help of graffiti artists.
The wall was painted on both the side of the Scheldelaan and the side of the towpath along the Scheldt. For this, the help of about 80 graffiti artists was called in, via the Ghent non-profit organization Wallin'.
