The St. John Nepomuk Chapel on Promenadeweg in Vienna's Liesing district was built in 1766 and is now a listed building. It is a brick wayside shrine with a basket-arch opening, pilaster framing, and triangular pediment. Inside, a statue of St. John Nepomuk in canon's habit, holding a cross, is placed. With its Baroque design and tranquil location on the Liesingbach stream, the small chapel is an atmospheric testament to popular religious piety of the 18th century and a striking eye-catcher along Promenadeweg.
