Cykling

The place is located on the left bank of the Elbe east of Tangerhütte and south of Tangermünde. The wooded area between the Elbe and Tangier is mostly flat, but falls to the Elbe Valley by about 15 meters. The Elbe forms the border to the district of Jerichower Land. On the opposite side of the Elbe (municipality of Elbe-Parey) branches of the 1745 Plauer built channel - today descent channel and part of the Elbe-Havel Canal.
