Today's Holy Cross Church in Szestno (Seehesten) was built after a fire in the previous church using old materials and dates from the years 1619 to 1639. The interior of the church impresses with numerous wall and ceiling paintings, even if there are numerous traces of restoration and Change there. The altar and pulpit date from 1647 and were made by the same carving workshop. The furnishings include two man's chairs and two flags for the dead from the 17th century. The church, which has been Protestant since the Reformation, is now a Catholic church. Source: Wikipedia
