Badia di San Lorenzo, abbey complex of which today only the church remains; with the recovery of the sacred building an ancient tradition has been brought to light, according to which citizens can also reach the Abbey on foot to attend the sacred rites in honor of San Lorenzo, precisely at dawn on 10 August.

From the documents preserved in the archive of the Basilica of San Nicola di Bari, it is clear that the Abbey of San Lorenzo originated before 984 AD. as a Benedictine center, today only the church remains. The main facade has a small door with shaped jambs on which a porch with a niche protrudes, in addition there is a small bell gable. The interior consists of a single-celled room with a rectangular plan measuring 3.56 x 12.40 meters. At the rear protrudes a small semicircular apse while the internal vault is barrel-vaulted.
