The mill village Gschnitz is an open-air museum with a focus on water mills in the municipality of Gschnitz. It is located at the end of the Gschnitztal valley and has a bus connection.
A forge operated with water power and a flour mill are shown, as well as several other handicrafts and alpine huts. The waterfall of the Sandesbach is located at the upper end of the mill village. The museum is open all day every day in the summer months and there are occasional demonstrations of old handicrafts.

At the end of the valley lies the mill village of Gschnitz: an open-air museum on the theme of mills, now of course closed in winter. Next to it a waterfall and a small chapel.
