Cykling
Derwent Walk is a former rail link for the former industry in this area. Since the closure of the track, this has become a beautiful walking and cycling path. This segment highlights a large part of the Derwent walk from Whickham below in the north up to where the track joins the Waskerley Way, another of the area's other former railway links turned path.
