Andrate is a small town in the province of Turin (just over 500 inhabitants). Located at the beginning of the Serra and on the watershed between Biella and Canavese (Ivrea), you can enjoy an excellent show on the Piedmontese plain. The Tracciolino starts from Andrate, a splendid high-altitude path that connects the town with Oropa. The first kilometers after Andrate are unpaved but very feasible with MTB / gravel, while after the hamlet of Sambuco it is all asphalted.
