The Camilla mine was built in the late 1940s and early 1950s and production started. The extraction shaft (ore was extracted) was approx. 200 m deep. At a depth of 50 m and 100 m there were excavated tunnels that were driven in the direction of Badenhard.
At the beginning of the sixties the operation was stopped because the ore deposits were too small and the extraction was therefore uneconomical.
