The Lippesee, officially the Sander-Lippe dam, near Sande, a district of Paderborn in North Rhine-Westphalia, is a reservoir of the Lippe tributary Thune in the immediate vicinity of the Lippe.
The weir has a height of 5 m and a length of 66.5 m, and the reservoir has a capacity of 7 million m³. The lake became operational in 1986. There is a footpath around Lippesee, which is 7.1 kilometers long.

In the inn at the intersection (B64) corner Lippesee always waits for a cool beer on the hikers. There are also fishing licenses there. From the dam (bridge) you have a great overview of the lake, the basin of the dam is a meeting place of many water birds.
