In the area south bank of the Markkleeberger lake is directly on the bike path a covered break area with snack bars, information board (information about the American prairie bisons) and a fenced pasture with bison. From here you have a great view of the lake and buildings of Leipzig, such as the university giant, radio tower on the Richard-Lehmann-Straße, Völkerschlachtdenkmal etc
