an Italian town of 1 307 inhabitants in the metropolitan city of Bari in Puglia. It was once a feud of the Orsini family who gave their name to the town. It is the least inhabited urban center and with the lowest population density of the metropolitan city, and is part of the Alta Murgia National Park.

Small village (the smallest anyway) in the province of Bari, with only about 1500 inhabitants. The town is characterized by the presence of the Macchia Vetrana farmhouse, a building dating back to the 17th century, residence of the then Duke Orsini, from which the name of the town derives.
The most suggestive point is certainly represented by the Poggiorsini belvedere, from which it is possible to admire the panorama of the colorful Murgia hills that surround the village.
