Vandring
The Ebersbach post mill was built in 1859 and was then in operation for around 100 years. Today, a mill day takes place every year at Pentecost.

The post windmill (also upright mill, box mill or German windmill) is the oldest type of windmill in Europe. The core feature of this type of mill is that the entire mill house stands on a single thick pole (the "house tree"), which is fixed vertically in a wooden support frame (the eponymous "buck") located below the actual mill. On the trestle, the entire mill machinery can be turned into the wind using the leverage of the outer beam. However, this method is not optimal and very difficult when the wind direction changes.

The Ebersbach post mill was reconstructed in 2004 with funding from the European Union and restored to a sight. The Mühlen- und Heimatverein e. V. has set itself the goal of preserving the post mill as a technical monument and making it a tourist attraction. In this course, mill tours (also suitable for school classes) and other mill festivities are carried out. A visit is always worthwhile.
