Lying in the North Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Chartham is a gorgeous little village that looks like it's wandered out of a postcard. It's been a hub of paper making for hundreds of years thanks to the Great Stour river that the village sits on.
As you hike in the surroundings, you'll find farms, orchards and woodlands.

Once a Small Mill town with a Large Mental Health Asylum on the Hill. Growing in size and practically boarding Chilham, petham and Thannington now. A Beautiful church, Village hall and Three Shops and just some of the Amenity in Chartham. This is also a great spot of Start and End your walk or Cycle
