Cykling
A tarmac climb of great steepness, leading to excellent off-road.
Start at the electric gate in Gunnerside. The gate opens slowly, so no need to panic when getting back to your bike, you have time. But do you have the gears? The legs?
Immediately 20%, sustained through the first switchback. 4 hairpins follow, easily surpassing 20%, so long as you take the widest available course.
Arriving at the first farmhouse, the road levels a little, probably 15%. Look left to see just how far you have climbed already.
Grit your teeth some more, there's more ramps to come!
