Probably the most famous of all the west coast beaches. Also very popular. There are two main beaches, South Piha and North Piha, North Piha also has what is know as Middle Beach. Piha has a camp ground, cafe, surf life gaurds (through the summer) and plenty of black sand (where footwear... the "black sand dance" is a real thing). There are walking tracks linking to the beachs north and south as well. (Please take note and follow the requests at the Kauri die back stations to prevent the spread of the disease)
