The Rupertisee is an artificial reservoir that is used in winter to make snow on the slopes. Due to its wonderful location with a great panoramic and valley view of Wagrain, the lake quickly became a popular destination for numerous visitors. Numerous information boards have been set up by Bergbahnen Wagrain along the footpath from the mountain station of the "Flying Mozart" gondola lift to the lake.
