The Piz Chavalatsch is without a doubt an absolute panoramic mountain. The path from the Glurnser Köpfl and the Plasweller over the ridge alone is a great experience. Required: a good level of fitness (at almost 2000 meters in altitude), sure-footedness (scree) and a head for heights (left is the Italian health system, right is the Swiss health system). The way back from the Stilfers Almen leads through fragrant alpine meadows (at least in early summer). Scouting skills are an advantage, because the signage or path drawing is very "clear".
