Vyle-et-Tharoul is a Condrusian village crossed from west to east by the small stream of Vyle. It is bordered by the Hoyoux to the west into which the Vyle flows.
Surrounded by meadows, fields and woods, the village has several farms, a church, dedicated to Saint-Martin built in 1859, as well as three castles: the castle of Vyle, the castle of Tharoul and the castle of Bagatelle.
