The old church in Sindorf is a three-aisled, Gothic hall church with a three-story bell tower in front and a five-sided closed choir in the east. The church was built around 1484 after the previous building collapsed in the middle of the 15th century. In 1805 the church had to be renovated after a fire.

Cykling

A Sindorf church was first mentioned around 1300 in the famous "liber valoris". This building, whose exact name is unknown, collapsed after 1400. In its place, a three-aisled Gothic hall church divided into three bays was built. It ended in the east with a choir and in the west with a massive tower.
It is unusual that the width of the nave, which was built towards the end of the 15th century, exceeds its length. The church continued to exist until renovations in the 19th and 20th centuries.
